Our Story of Sown to Bloom
From grassroots to something bigger - a glimpse into the creation of Sown to Bloom.
Our little homestead journey began in 2020, when we stumbled upon an overgrown patch of paradise. It was wild, a little worn down, and bursting with untapped potential — much like us. With muddy boots, dirty hands, and a whole lot of heart, we began to gently reshape this place into a sanctuary for healing, growth, and creativity.
Our love story is a gentle reminder that you're allowed to begin again. Afterall, we're all sown to bloom. To read more about the grassroots of Sown to Bloom, please follow the link below to read my blog.

More than Art
Sown to Bloom is more than just flower preservation; it's about storytelling, healing, and embracing a slower pace of life. I strive to blend farm-grown beauty with heart-led preservation, creating art that feels personal, grounded, and full of meaning. Every petal holds a story and every piece is made to feel like home.

Trust the Process
Flower pressing is a gentle, intentional journey from garden to artwork. It begins with collecting blooms at their peak, choosing each one with care and respect. The petals are then prepared and nestled between layers of paper, pressed with just the right amount of pressure — firm enough to preserve, gentle enough to protect.
From there, patience becomes part of the art. Presses are checked and changed as the flowers slowly release their moisture, each shift a quiet act of tending. Over days and weeks, the blooms transform, becoming delicate, weightless versions of themselves.
When the final press is complete, what remains is something timeless — a preserved moment, a softened memory, a piece of nature ready to last a lifetime.
